Pretty ‘n Pink chosen by the Lord Mayor of Belfast
Pretty ‘n Pink chosen by the Lord Mayor of Belfast, Deirdre Hargey as the Mayor’s charity of the year.
The Lord Mayor of Belfast, Deirdre Hargey, attended our Pink Ball at the Devenish to announce Pretty ‘n Pink as her charity of the year. Deirdre said:
When I heard of the work Pretty ‘n Pink do, it sits well with the theme I have for the year ahead. I commend the work of Pretty ‘n Pink and thank you for all the work you have done. The charity really gets into communities and helps support patients with breast cancer and their families. I am delighted that you are my appointed charity and look forward to having discussions with you regarding what I can do to raise the profile of the charity, increase the fundraising efforts and raise more awareness.
Pretty ‘n Pink are excited to be nominated as the Lord Mayors chosen charity and look forward to working with the Lord Mayor during 2018/2018.
As one of the Mayoral Charities, we were excited to host our Annual Gala Ball for 2018 in the iconic Belfast City Hall. This was such an achievement for Pretty ‘n Pink. The Lord Mayor also chose Pretty ‘n Pink to host the Santa’s Grotto at the Belfast Christmas Market which was held in the grounds of City Hall.
Through the Lord Mayor and her colleagues, this has opened many doors for Pretty ‘n Pink and helped to raise awareness surrounding the Charity and promote the services we provide for patients in Northern Ireland.
