Pretty ‘n Pink support fund

Pretty 'n Pink are Northern Ireland’s only breast cancer charity, we are here to help you and your family cope with and beyond a breast cancer diagnosis.

Our Information & Support Hub is now open at Unit 2, The Park Centre, Donegall Road, Belfast, BT12 6HN. Our friendly staff would be delighted to welcome you in for a confidential chat and can offer valuable information on our range of patient support services.

A breast cancer diagnosis can place extra financial strains upon families during what is already an extremely stressful time. Since 2006 we have been supporting women and men with breast cancer and their families across Northern Ireland in a financial capacity to help alleviate some of these burdens and to help shed a positive light during difficult times.

How it works

Funds can be put toward a variety of practical requirements, such as:

Household utility bills such as heating and electricity

  • Travel expenses
  • Specialist bras or swimwear
  • Essential clothing
  • Mortgage / rent payments
  • Housework demand

In addition, the Support Fund can also be used for more pleasurable experiences, such as:

  • Pamper days
  • Respite breaks
  • Family outings

In order to be considered for a grant, the patient should:

  • Reside in Northern Ireland
  • Have had a diagnosis of breast cancer within the last twelve months

Our Support Fund is not means tested as we aim to provide an available source of funding for those people who do not necessarily meet the criteria for other public or charitable funding.
